National Police Remembrance Day - Blue Ribbon Day

"We recall with deep gratitude those police officers throughout Australasia and the South West Pacific who have given their lives in the line of duty. We remember especially the 157 men and women who, over the past 158 years, have paid the supreme sacrifice whilst serving with Victoria Police. We gather now to honour their memory and to support their loved ones by our presence, our thoughts and our prayers" Reverend Jim Pilmer

The Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation was formed in 1988 to perpetuate the memory of Victoria Police members killed in the line of duty.
